Coco’s Cake Smash!

March 18, 2018

Im not sure who was more excited for this cake smash, wyatt or me! I had been planning in my head all the fun things I wanted to incorporate and Wyatt had been planning how much cake he was going to eat when he was “helping” sister. Coco really had no idea! It ended up raining the day I wanted to do them so we did them in her room! It was actually super fun (and super messy!) to have her barn doors that her daddy made her incorporated in the photos! I drove all over town looking for ranunculus that I had seen the week before and of course I couldn’t find a single one! SO we took the cake flowers from my garden, which just happen to be ranunculus! Wyatt and I made the cake together!

She wasn’t so sure at first! Such a little lady, just one little finger to test it out!

With a little persuading from brother she finally realized what she was supposed to do with it!

THIS FACE. Its the face she gives me when she is testing me. When she is getting in the trash or about to put a rock in her mouth. I know this face all too well! Im so happy I captured it!

Once the confetti started falling she was into it! This is the confetti we used at our gender reveal when we found out she was a GIRL! I love that we could incorporate it into her cake smash shoot! Her bow is the same one she wore home from the hospital when she was born!

Are you kidding me with that tongue little girl??

She still needed some convincing from brother, so he smashed that cake for her and gave her a taste. It was a quick reject though! She’s my picky little eater!

She would motorboat her lips because she thinks its hilarious when she spits everywhere. Of course big brother eggs it on. These two crack me up!

That sweet little boy is always there helping his sister. He protects her, tells her he is proud of her and loves her so sweetly. He was so excited to show Coco how to do her cake smash.

It took many attempts to get that standing shot of her! HA! She is not really into it, or maybe it was the icing and confetti all over her toes that made it extra challenging! Good thing for fast shutter speeds!

Happy {almost} first birthday little girl!!
